Point system:
The standard Sprint Cup Series Points System.
Lead one lap: 5 bonus points
Lead most laps: 5 bonus points
Pole: 0 points
Reconnects: Any driver who falls out for any reason AFTER THE SERVER HAS BEEN RESET and before the green flag has been thrown to start the race will still be allowed to reconnect and race, but will receive 35th place points, regardless of the number of laps that driver leads in the race or the number of trucks in the race. However, the driver will still be credited with his/her finishing position, just not the eqivalent amount of points for that finish.
Any driver who falls out for any reason AFTER the green flag has started the race WILL NOT be penalized if he/she reconnects and continues to race. This has been clarified to properly reflect the way the rule has been enforced all season.
Basic On-track rules and etiquette:
Lowlining: This is allowed at all times, regardless of the number of laps left in the race.
Blocking: Not allowed until leader takes 10 to go. This applies for every track type and size.
Lucky Dog: Instead of speeding in the pits, you are now required to SAFELY pass the field when the one to go is given. Ensure that you are EOLL when the green comes out, and your black flag will be cleared.
Cautions: The IRC committee will meet and discuss after the race any incident in which a clear cut determination of fault can't be made during the race. Remember, wrecking points will be assessed to the truck number, not the driver. The league that causes the least number of collective cautions will receive a 200 point bonus at the end of the race, provided that the number of cautions is less than three. If two or more leagues are tied for the least number of cautions, the point bonus will be split evenly among the leagues.
Other incidents: If an incident occurs on the track that does not bring out a caution, notify the admins that you want an incident reviewed. The IRC committee will determine after the race if a wrecking point needs to be assigned to the incident. If you don't let the admins know of an incident that produces no yellow, then the admins will not review it.
Flaming: If you're caught flaming anyone or anything, whether over TeamSpeak or through in-game chat, you will be ejected from the game server and receive last place points for the race. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Black Flags: They won't be cleared. Don't even bother asking for it. If shenanigans were in effect to purposely get a driver black flagged, the IRC committee will meet to determine if it was in fact intentional, and if that team should be penalized a truck in the following race.
